The Story of 3 narratives... 

 

The big picture 

The first narrative is the one we all form part of. The global platform of influence were we as organization, businesses are adding our value in the current timeline. ( being part of this earth ,on the African continent , here and now.)

· The market place where we give or take resources,  adding to the platform of existence.

· This platform is an all growing platform as the two other narratives are progressing and growing.

· This narrative can not exist without the two following narratives. 


Being part

The second narrative is the one of the Organization.(The company or organization the individual form part of.)

· On this platform value are added by the organization to the market place and global world as we know it.

· What does it mean to be part of the organization and its purpose in the timeline of the big picture.

· The Visionary and Leader of organization play an important role in communicating this story to both narratives on either side. 

Owning my story

The third narrative is all about the individual that made it all possible. (Me, Myself and I)

· This narrative is where it all starts.

· This is who the individual is and become through his or her experiences, believes and values.

· What is the story of the individual and why do he or she do what they do were they do it.

· This narrative is driven and motivated by meaning and purpose.   


To make sense of this model it is important to acknowledge that all three narratives have an influence on each other and not one can exist without thee other.

From an organizational viewpoint it is important to acknowledge that the individual’s narrative and the organizational narrative need to synchronize and the more they do the more effective and productive the outcome will be on the global platform . This is where Leadership is so important to communicate and reflect on the narrative of the organization ….WHY do we do what we do?…. When the Individual become the main character in the organization the true value will be added. This can only be accomplished through leadership and vision.
